With just a few simple steps, you can create a unique and adorable balloon animal giraffe. All you need is a few balloons, some scissors, and a bit of creativity. So let’s get started!
How To Make a Balloon Giraffe?
Making a balloon giraffe is a fun way to bring a bit of the savannah into your next party! Here’s what you’ll need:
- 11 standard-sized balloons (1 yellow, 2 green, 1 white, 1 black, and 6 in any other color of your choice)
- Scissors
- Helium tank (if you want your giraffe to float!)
- String
- Double-sided tape
Instructions:
- Begin by inflating the yellow balloon. Tie it off and set it aside.
- Inflate the two green balloons and tie them off.
- Inflate the white balloon and tie it off.
- Inflate the remaining balloons and tie them off.
- Cut the two green balloons in half. You should now have four green pieces.
- Cut the yellow balloon in half, leaving the tied-off end intact.
- Take the four green pieces and tie them around the tied-off end of the yellow balloon. This will form the giraffe’s body.
- Cut the white balloon in half and tie the two pieces to the body, one on each side. This will be the giraffe’s head and neck.
- Cut the remaining balloons in half and tie them to the body, one on each side. This will be the giraffe’s legs.
- Take the black balloon and cut it into four pieces. Tie these pieces to the head and neck to make the giraffe’s ears and nose.
- If you’re using a helium tank, tie a piece of string to the giraffe and attach it to the helium tank. This will make your giraffe float!
- To finish, use a bit of double-sided tape to stick the giraffe to the wall if you don’t want it to float.
And there you have it – your very own balloon giraffe!
